Lauren is an associate attorney at Znosko and Reas, where she represents employers, self-insured employers, third party administrators, and carriers in the defense of workers' compensation claims. Prior to joining the firm, Lauren practiced workers’ compensation defense in North Carolina for over eight (8) years. She has experience in complex claims involving attendant care, catastrophic injuries, and claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA). Her hard-working nature, ethical approach and fierce tenacity in defending her cases make her an asset to the firm, and to the clients she represents. Her vast experience and detailed knowledge in defending workers compensation cases for the entirety of her practicing career, helps her to exemplify the attributes and high standards that Znosko and Reas is known for. Her quick response to client concerns, and “outside of the box thinking” helps her to provide the end results that her clients have learned to expect.
Originally from Upstate New York, Lauren escaped the cold northern winters by relocating to North Carolina to pursue her law degree at Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. She was selected to Campbell University’s Law Review and ran the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. After earning her J.D., Lauren practiced law in Wilmington, North Carolina for several years before relocating to Central Florida.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is an avid reader of historical fiction and loves spending time on the water or listening to podcasts.
